Mahesh Peiris
Stillness is a philosophy that Mr. Mahesh deeply values—a quality that brings peace to the mind and soul amid the demands of everyday life.
His journey towards this philosophy began at the age of five, when he started practising Karate. Over the past 40 years, this discipline of breath, focus, balance, and mindfulness has become an integral part of his life. For the past 17 years, he has also run his own Dojo, while teaching Qigong and meditation for more than two decades, helping others discover greater harmony between mind and body.
Today, as Director of Revera Ceylon Journeys, Mr. Mahesh brings this philosophy of balance and mindfulness into the way he approaches travel. He believes that a journey should be more than simply travelling from one destination to another—it should provide an opportunity to slow down, breathe, reconnect, and truly experience the spirit of a place.
Through Revera Ceylon Journeys, he seeks to showcase Sri Lanka not merely as a holiday destination, but as a land of natural beauty, tranquillity, and positive energy. Each itinerary is thoughtfully designed to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature, experience the country's unique culture, and find moments of genuine peace and reflection.
His sincere wish is that every guest who visits Sri Lanka discovers a quiet sense of ease and renewal through the beauty and gentle energy of the island—and carries that feeling of true rest with them long after their journey has ended.
“I look forward to welcoming you to Sri Lanka and sharing with you the beauty, tranquillity, and spirit of this remarkable island.”
